Veritans Club

Established in Paterson, New Jersey in 1927, this philanthropic organization developed the concept of providing and maintaining the first day camp in the area. Dedicated to the needs of the community, the club formed Camp Veritans in 1949 for the kids who needed a place to play and escape the city during the hot summers.

To this day, the Veritans Club is composed of volunteers who are  determined  to provide a place where all children can learn new skills, develop greater self-confidence, and build meaningful personal connections. Members of the club believe that every child, regardless of personal circumstances, deserves the opportunity to experience the power of camp.
