Established in 1949, Camp Veritans is an American Camp Association Accredited day camp in Haledon, New Jersey. At Camp Veritans, we are committed to providing an environment where campers can continue on their journey of self-discovery while forming friendships that will last a lifetime. We believe that every child should be given the opportunity to thrive in an outdoor learning environment where they can participate in healthy risk-taking adventures that are essential for developing leadership and effective communication skills.

We open our doors weekday mornings in late June through mid August, campers arrive by bus at 9 a.m. to a full schedule of swimming, athletics, arts and crafts, specialty activities and more. Each day we offer nut-free lunches with the ability to accommodate any additional dietary needs and a wide variety of options to suit your child's preferences. We keep them going all day ‘til 4 p.m., busing them safely back home to you, with smiles on their faces!

Camp Veritans is owned and operated by the Veritans Club. Established in Paterson, New Jersey in 1927, this philanthropic organization came together with the concept of providing and maintaining the first day camp in the area. Through countless generations, this growing group of dedicated volunteers continues to come together with a shared mission of providing a safe place for kids to play and grow.
