Activities
Every camper at Camp Veritans is encouraged to take part in our wide variety of exciting activities and programs, at their pace. With gentle and spirited guidance of our well-trained staff, there are over 60 acres of athletic fields, open space, hiking trails, playgrounds and climbing areas for your child to enjoy. All campers are always encouraged to participate in activities but are never forced, a rule that is born of the philosophy that when activities are positively introduced in an inviting and fun manner, children will naturally want to try them.
Arts
Unlocking the creative potential within every camper, the arts programs at Camp Veritans allow your child to use their imagination. Campers will express themselves through arts & crafts, woodworking, dance and cooking, each tailored to meet the needs of each age group.
Aquatics
Here at Camp Veritans we pride ourselves on the goal of teaching children how to swim and how to swim well. We follow the American Red Cross guidelines for swim instruction. Our swim instructors receive extensive training on how to work with children of all ages and abilities. Campers receive swim instruction daily, in small group settings, with a trained swim instructor and the assistance of a group staff member.
Adventure
Camp Veritans offers a wide variety of adventure seeking opportunities that encourages all of our campers to step outside of their comfort zone. Our ropes course includes over 15 team building, problem solving obstacles. Offering a variety of low elements and high elements it is an outdoor personal development system built to challenge campers of all ages. Our campers are also given the opportunity to fulfill their need for speed on the go-kart track.
STEM
Take learning beyond the classroom and into the outdoors to explore the opportunities that our world has to offer. Guided by our expert STEM instructors, campers will explore the areas of science and nature through hands-on experiences. Our Lego Lounge provides a unique space where campers can bring their imaginative creations to life.
Sports
At Camp Veritans, campers have the opportunity to step onto the court, field, course or pit alongside our exceptional instructors, where they can acquire new skills and strategies to elevate their game. We offer a wide variety of recreational and competitive sports, including soccer, baseball, basketball, volleyball, football, tennis, pickleball, archery, gaga and so many more.
Special Days
Every camper looks forward to specialty days at camp. These unique days add an extra excitement into the standard camp activities, with thrilling adventures and surprises. These days are marked by themed events and surprise activities, which help create lasting memories for your camper.
Jewish Culture
As a camp founded on Jewish tradition and values, our programming encourages campers to learn about Jewish spirit and Israeli culture. Campers will be given opportunities to explore Jewish customs through various camp traditions and activities such as Arts & Crafts, and our weekly celebration of Shabbat.
