Jessica Tratner; Yeladim Unit Head
Jessica has been with our Yeladim Program since its introduction in 2014. She has created a nurturing environment for our youngest campers, those turning 4 by October 15th. Jessica taught children ages 3 – 21 in Maryland, Florida and New York City for 21 years. Jessica enjoys coming to camp with her children who have been at Camp Veritans since 2010.
Kristie Ellis; Unit Head, Kinneret
Kristie has been teaching preschool for the past 20 years, first for the Navy in Lakehurst, NJ then at the YM-YWHA and Wayne Y. She has also taught Robotics and Sign Language. Kristie joined Camp Veritans in 2012 and has been working with our kindergarten and first grade campers and loving every moment! She also has two sons of her own who keep her on her toes.
Robyn Murray; Unit Head, El Al
Robyn has been a part of the CV family since 2008. Robyn has just recently retired from her year-round teaching job in the Paterson school district. Camp is a family affair for Robyn, as her two children have been campers and staff at Camp Veritans and her husband, Mark, is an active member of the Veritans Club.
Allie has been a part of the Camp Veritans family since 2003. As a camper turned counselor- Allie has always had a passion for working with children. After graduating from Ramapo College, Allison went on to complete her master’s degree and works during the year in the school system. During her free time, Allie loves to spend time with her dogs, go on hikes, and spend time with family and friends. Allie is excited to be the Unit Head for Negev and to enjoy new, fun experiences with the campers!
Grace Blake; Unit Head, Galil
No stranger to our CV family, Grace has been a Veritans camper, counselor, CIT Supervisor and now Galil Unit Head. A Montclair State University graduate, Grace teaches during the year in the public schools. Grace makes sure your camper enjoys a great Veritans experience from the moment they step on the bus as she coordinates fun bus activities and competitions.
Daniel comes to Camp Veritans all the way from Jersey City, NJ! Daniel actually was a camper at Veritans for one summer and found his way back in the summer of ’21 as a part of the Ropes Course staff and one of the archery instructors. Daniel works in a private school during the year. He is excited that he now gets to share his summers with his daughter, here at CV. In his free time, you can find Daniel cheering on his beloved NY Mets, cooking, or at the closest Phish concert to home.
