Our Mission:
We support a child’s right to a camp experience during the summer regardless of ethnic, religious and social background.
We are a philanthropic organization determined to provide financial assistance to families with children who would otherwise be denied a summer experience in a country-like setting. Thoreau wrote, “Philanthropy is almost the only virtue which is sufficiently appreciated by mankind.”
“It is a camp run for children by a talented group of professionals and owned by a dedicated bunch of amateurs who know how to dig up money so it’s run efficiently with time for a little fun on the side.”
The Veritans Club members “enter the grove with its grass and trees and hear the laughter and the splashing and they are paid back and the interest compounds to sweet infinity.” “God made the grass and trees, but the Veritans brought the kids.”
