CIT: COUNSELOR IN TRAINING PROGRAM
Designed for teens entering 10th grade, our CIT Program bridges the gap between being a camper and becoming a counselor. The Counselor in Training (CIT) Program is a full eight-week commitment that trains teens to become future staff. Under the supervision of camp administrators, CIT’s work directly with our younger camp groups, interacting with campers and learning about the responsibilities and skills it takes to become a member of the Camp Veritans Staff.

CIT’s enjoy exciting camper benefits by participating in a variety of activities during their camp days. Weekly meetings with camp administration encourage the sharing of experiences and facilitate the learning process through discussion and role playing.
(All CIT’s must have participated in at least one year of our Masada program and have a pre-enrollment interview with the Camp Director. Though completing the CIT program does not guarantee future employment at Camp Veritans, we hope that our CIT’s will use this valuable training as a stepping stone for future employment endeavors).
